Hope this is the right section for my question. I wish to purchase a devise that wil beep at me if I accidentally exceed the speed limit in my car. I do not need the usual route finder and maps. I cannot get this information from Garmin, probably because they were trying to push their route finders one of which I purchased recently and found very unreliable in that many of the spead limits were shown incorrectly even after updating. Can anyone please suggest such a device?
Definitely the wrong spot for this request, you are in the sports section (GPS watches/heart rate monitors/running/biking). Try the section for "on the road" or automotive GPS devices.

I couldn't find either of the sections you mentioned but I did a search for "on the road" and found my own thread there with others that did not appear to relate. A search for "automated GPS devices" brought up no results at all. What am I doing wrong? Can you guide me further please. Regards Brian
Hey, I just joined yesterday, so I guess I jumped the gun on that response. I assumed that there was a sports section, a car section, a boat section, etc... I seem to be incorrect, which I find very strange. I'm not really sure why, but the forums seem to only have an area for the sports products. My suggestion would be to contact Garmin
Hello again. Not to worry. I must say, I found the sections confusing and in fact there didn't seem to be one for my question. However, I had already contacted Garmin who were not very helpful at all in fact the answer I got back was that they did not make such a unit as I wanted. I have since found out from Halfords that they sell on line, a model called Snooper but I am not sure yet who makes it. I am about to take a look. Hopefully, that will give me what I want.
