Won't Share

I'm wanting to share details of my ride with a friend but when I click 'share' it doesn't work. My activity is set to public!

You ought to post in the Garmin Connect forum, not this one.

Can't you just copy and paste the url of the activity you want to share to your friend?

Can you describe what happens when you hit "Share" in GC? By which method are you trying to share?

Sharing to email or social network

I have a 405, when in the activity, not private I click on share, nothing happens, click embed, export or any other tools and you can see what you have to do next to complete the task. For some reason the share button does nothing.

Are you using Internet Explorer 8?

If so, try turning on "Compatability View" for Garmin.com in the Tools menu.

That worked for me.

There's a little padlock icon next to the Share icon. Click on that to open the padlock.
