Garmin Connect Google maps option

A few weeks ago the maps function display changed from google maps to microsoft's map display. It would be great to have the option to use google maps as the default. Most of my software uses google maps and I am used to the display. Also it would be great if data could be synced with ical or other calandar programs that could be displayed on the mac or iphone.

Totally agree. I really dislike Bing Maps. It is horrible!!! Please Garmin, can we go back to Google Maps? Or at least give the user the option to choose.

bing maps suck.

I'll be deleting all my connect data and not bothering with connect next month if they don't restore the option to use google maps.

the view I can see is blurred and useless, if I try to zoom in I just get camera icons because there are no zoomed in arial views.

please put the old maps back!

I was recommending it to people and now you do this! :mad: :confused:

And Bing maps don't show a road (Chief Peguis Trail, Winnipeg, MB, Canada) that's been around for a year already. Shows up on Google just fine. Bing in a word ...sucks!!!
Go back to Google with a new deal and keep happy customers....my Nuvi is now searching for a trash can !
