Correct the Maximum Heart Rate Error

Former Member

If you compare two activites, the Max Heart Rate given is actually the Average Heart Rate.

This should be corrected. Happy to forward Garmin screenshots if required.

Does anyone from Garmin actually read these? it's been over one month and basic errors have not been corrected. There is little point in having great hardware if the software is not upto the same standard. Not happy.
  • I was about to report the same thing but noticed that someone else reported the problem. I second the issue and the concern. Please fix the issue.

    Regards.

now nearly May and nothing's changed. All that effort getting the heart cranked up and a paltry average shows as the max in the compare pages dispiriting!

I can also confirm this annoying error.

This error can be reproduced by
    1) go to the 'Activities' view under 'MyConnect'
    2) check the leftmost checkboxes of two activities
    3) click 'Compare activities'
    4) click 'More Detail'
    5) now you can see that the 'Avg HR (bpm)' and the 'Max HR (bpm)' have the same value, which is actually the average HR.
