I recently purchased an Oregon 550T. Overall love the unit but one of the biggest shortfalls is the unit does not recharge the batteries while plugged into the USB port while connected to a computer or a vehicle cigarette lighter.
I also have a Megellan Crossover that has this feature and wish it the Oregon had it. I also wish the Oregon had an "address book" and address menu that was more user friendly.
