Delete laps

Hi guys,

does anyone know if its possible to delete laps? I ran a race today and lapped my watch instead of stopping it at the finish line. So, I have one too many laps and since I was stood still for sometime its totally skewed my time/average speed

ps, I have garmin 405 and don't seem to be able to delete individual laps before uploading to garmin connect, unlike my previous garmin 305 which did allow me to delete individual laps.

Not sure if this would work......

I also use the pc version of the software training center: This has and option to delete a map when in history (right-click) once the offending lap is deleted from an activity the activity (minus the offending lap) could then be exported to a file and manually uploaded to connect.

If you open the activity on your watch (Menu> History> Activities> then select the activity you want to edit) scroll through to the lap you want to delete then push and hold the lap/reset button (bottom button) you should then get the prompt confirming if you want to delete that lap. Select yes and the lap is gone.

Do it before you upload to Garmin Connect or Training Centre then you will see the correct data when you review your run.
