405cx and 310XT

Hello,

I have the 310XT and it's link to my computer via ant+, everything is working well. I bought the 405CX to my girlfriend. Can I add it via another ant+ to the same computer without messing everything? Can we have 2 different accounts? and will the computer recognize each time which garmin watch goes with which account?

I have a mac, so the answer may be different.

You need to have separate logins to the computer.

The downloaded watch data will then go into the right place for that person and be uploaded to their correct connect profile.

To be safe I make sure that my ANT stick is only enabled when I want to download, so as not to pick up another device, possibly from another user.
However your login should store which device/watch it is paired with.

I do not think you can have multiple users on one computer user login
( well not on a mac anyway.)
