Failure to download into connect

I expect that this query has been answered elsewhere but I couldn't find any help within the answers I found.
Problem is edge800 connect via usb to computer garmin connect it recognises my device .I then try to upload routes. It keeps coming up with 'no activities found 'even if i do a manual download it will not find/recognise anything at all.
I have done all the usual, downloaded all extra downloads checked with the check page and it says I have all latest plugins.
I have tried refreshing etc still nothing.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do you have Data Recording set to the main memory or to the data storage card?

There is an issue with retrieveing history from the storage card. It seems Garmin has enabled that feature on the new device, but the upload software has not been updated to accomodate it.

In Garmin Connect though, with my 705 connected, I am able to "change device" on the upload screen and then choose the storage card. I don't know if you could also do that with the 800 storage card and successfully upload directly from the card. You might try that.

Thanks for reply,It actually shows both the device and the storage card and gives me the option of downloading from either.I only have maps on the sd card all routes are on the 800.I get the same message whichever I try to download from.
