3790lmt Restroom locations?

Use POIs, I'm pretty much sure you can find RestRooms POI on some Internet site.

Thank you for the help, I did look into the POI on the 3790 and had no luck finding the restrooms. When you say look them up in the POI on the internet I'm confused as to what you mean?

You are out of lack, your nuvi 3790 doesn't show POI included in maps. This is special design for US and Europe. If you buy your nuvi in Asia, you will be able to see it, see for example:

Interesting would be to know what's the reason of this discrimination from Garmin part?

You can prepare custom POI whit POILoader and use them in nuvi. This should be visible even in your 3790.

On my Rino530 it would show restrooms on major highways, but my new 3790lmt does not seems to show these, nor can I locate a setting to show them?
Am I assuming correctly that the 3790lmt does not show restrooms? I find it difficult to believe this would not be a important feature for families traveling.:confused:

As a work-around, maybe look for gas stations, parks or whatever-you'd think that poi would be of "great" interest!

I'm assuming Garmin noticed how many beer bottles (bars) there were over there and decided it was a good idea to show bathrooms.
Oh well I like alot of the other improvements but this one seems like a given.

And good idea about the work around with gas stations and such, its just weird to drive by a rest stop and nothing is shown on the GPS. Thanks for the help!
