sounds simple....

i have a etrex legend with a bunch of waypoints and tracks on it from hunting. it has the old ps2 cable with it and i can connect to my old computer.

i have a new dakota 20 that i use now and i connect it to a new laptop with the usb cable.

my question is, how can i save the tracks and waypoints from my etrex to my dakota? my laptop doesnt have a ps2 port and my old computer usb ports are sketchy at best. can i email them to myself then get them from my laptop? what software do i need to get the points from and to?

i LOVE my new dakota 20 BTW. perfect for my needs.

Download G7TOWIN (Google that) and you will be able to save your tracks and waypoints from the eTrex then you can either send them to yourself as email attachments.

You can then install the same G7TOWIN on your new computer and move these waypoints to the Dakota 20.
