Garmin Astro - display issues?

ok, we NEED an Astro forum! the Astro really doesn't fit in the running or cycling forums - how about a "sporting forum"?

to my issue: when hunting with several dogs, using the DC40 collars, at times, my Astro will display lines on the screen connecting one dog to another. these lines can be very distracting - especially when we've got five to seven dogs running. if i zoom in or out on the Astro, often the lines will disappear.

i've checked all the settings, and can't seem to find anything that identifies these lines, what they're for, or how to eliminate them completely.

any ideas?

Hello, what astro do you have? I just picked up a used 220 and have not had the chance to use with my dogs. I have however noticed while driving, it shows us off of the road to the right. Can you tell me if yours does the same? (Sorry to answer your question with a question of my own). I'll look and see if I can figure out your problem!

    Thanks for your reply. It's a 320, and I can't believe I didn't add that to my post :)

Regarding your issue - you may need to calibrate the unit. I can't remember exactly how to calibrate the 220, but there's info in the guide and the quick guide (which is online, here: http://static.garmincdn.com/pumac/Astro_QuickStartManual.pdf). Good luck!
