Issues with downloading maps on 62s

Hi, I just purchased a gpsmap 62s a few days ago and have been trying to download some of the free topographic maps from gpsfiledepot.com, but so far none of them have shown up on my gps. I have downloaded Basecamp and Mapinstaller from Garmin's website, have been able to view the maps in Basecamp, and it has even said that I successfully installed them on my gps, but it still just shows that I have just the original map that the device came with. Also, I am using a Mac if that makes any difference. Any info would be much appreciated!

Go to Main Menu, Setup, Maps, Select Map and ENABLE the mapset you downloaded.

Well that's been my problem. When I go through those steps and reach the screen to enable the maps it shows that the only map available for enabling is the worldwide dem basemap. So I guess what I am trying to figure out is where I've gone wrong in the downloading/installing process.

Can't help you more as I'm a PC person, not a Mac.
