Tracks from garmin connect don't show in GTC

I have a 405 and GTC receives and sends everything to the 405 without a problem.

If I export a tcx from connect.garmin.com (created with a 305) and then import it into Garmin Training Center there is no error but the track doesn't show up in the GTC.

The only way to overcome this is export from Connect as a GPX, convert to TCX in GPSies.com (i.e) and then import into GTC. This way it appears in GTC. What am I doing wrong here?

Also if I try to use the internet explorer plugin to send directly to the watch, it says "sent ok" but nothing appears in Ant Agent and nothing is sent to the watch?!?

    You have to find the answers to your own problems.

    I found the answer to this problem today after I had to search for another problem. I couldn't update the firmware on my watch. When I found the answer to this one I found the answer to the other.

    1. Internet Explorer users on Windows Vista must add "buy.garmin.com", "mygarmin.garmin.com" and "connect.garmin.com" to your list of Trusted Sites in the Security tab under Internet Options.
