3D Mapsource Maps

I just recently purchased a Nuvi 550. I have loaded an older version of Topo Canada maps via Mapsource to the GPS. How can I get 3D topo maps in mapsource? will I need to purchase a new version of Topo Canada? I currently have an older version 2.0

Will I need to purchase a new version of Topo maps? My Mapsource version is 6.15.11.

Any information is appreciated.

MapSource will not display 3D maps, you need to download and install BaseCamp for that. The version of Topo Canada you have is not a 3D map to begin with. If you want 3D, some research into a new map product is in order. IIRC there is one for Canada but I'm not sure.

KT, I don't think I need Base Camp. I have a buddy who has 3D without base camp. But he has Topo Canada Version 4.0.

Can someone confirm that Topo 4.0 has 3D mapping?
