Would it be too much to ask Garmin to add a Waypoint/Cache quantity indicator to the Oregon GPS firmware?
When I upload my caches and waypoints, I send the Caches first using GSAK and then the waypoints using Mapsource. I usually have 4000+ caches then 1100 or so Waypoints for work.
I've posted this on the forums before. It often takes several tries to get everything uploaded because the GPS locks up and I have to start over. This latest update 4.31 actually made the problem worse. The only way to upload now is to send the caches, boot, wait, pray that they go, shut down, upload the waypoints, boot, wait, say a prayer, and then go on about your business. (The waypoints also show 7000 miles or more away for up to an hour with this new update even though the GPS has a lock and the Caches show normal distance.)
So when it's all uploaded and the GPS finally boots I'd like to see that what I sent is actually there. All to many times even with the original firmware I've gone to do my job or do some caching just to find out half the waypoints or caches I sent are not there.
A verification counter of some kind would be great.
Thanks
