Can't connect to Garmin Connect

I have not been able to log onto Garmin connect for the past 5 days
I can log onto my.garmin without any issues, however i am getting extremely frustrated by being unable to log onto the connect website.

Is there any particular reason for this?

Cheers,
Todd

Hi all, i've installed FireFox and am able to log in again to GC :)
However, im still unable to log into the site using Internet Explorer.

Kind of strange that IE should suddenly stop working like that on the GC site.

    Try this.

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Compatability View Settings > Under "Add this website" type "garmin.com" > Add.

Might fix your problem might not. These electronic gadgets just drive me nuts.

    Todd or Gerrycan

I've got the same problem as Todd describes.

I'm a bit of a numpty when it comes to adding/removing trusted site on IE, can one of you talk me through it so I can get this problem rectified too.

    Cheers

    Checkers,
In the IE menu barClick on Tools
    Click on Security
Click on the Trusted Sites icon
Click on the Trusted Sites button
If garmin.com is in the list of websites, click on the name to highlight and then click Remove

Keep in mind that for problems with some other web functions of Garmin, ADDING the site to trusted sites is the solution. I seem to recall that adding it to trusted sites can clear up firmware update and device connection issues sometimes.

So if removing this doesn't solve your current problem, you might want to add it back.

    Hi,

I went thru exactly the same ordeal. I was out of town and was using my laptop to upload my runs. I was using IE and then one day, I can't log in. The techie on the phone gave me the run arond and finally connected me to the Garmin Connect people....they told me told download Firefox. All of the problems are gone now....I hope.
