Garmin Map Update Unresponsive

I have a new 3790T and when attempting to install the free Garmin Map Update via my MacBook Pro, the installation process is unresponsive. It gets as far as the window with "1, 2, 3" and seems to be stuck on the "1" with "Downloading (2396.8MB)". Any tips?! I've restarted the process multiple times and even let it sit overnight....nada.:mad:
