Battery Issue 310

Connecting the 310 can be a bit difficult to get a good connection. But now I can't get the 310 to even show that it is connected to the charger and as a consequence it isn't charging.
Any suggestions?

Is this regardless of whether you charging via USB or mains? Try a couple of USB ports (if on a laptop, in battery mode some laptops won't charge external devices), if mains try other sockets.

Try and clean the small electrodes on the back of the 310 with a pencil eraser. If that doesn't help, test that the two small metal electrodes on the charger clip are springy..... they should be, if one or both aren't then you need a replacement charger.

Thanks for replying. I have tried both the USB and the main charger - several outlets and two computers - still nothing - cleaning the posts as you suggested - both pins are springing back - so I still haven't solved the problem. Will try calling Garmin
