I came aboard trying to edit a goal. I set my goal for March on a Sunday after realizing it was never done. I did a 37+ mile ride on Saturday that I wanted included into the "miles" goal. Well, this is when I learned I could not back the date an earlier time. I fixed it by changing the date of the ride (and noting it for my records).
But its still stupid that there is not more editing features for goals and maps. For a company like Garmin, who is on the cutting edge of technology to not allow this small, mundane feature.
Hi, I am frustrating about the missing feature.
Now that I see also that the problem is very old enough and no response from Garmin at this point my frustration is even bigger. Sorry, but is it really so difficult to delete a goal? (technically?)
Just thought I'd add my $.02 worth of frustration.
I thought Garmin was a class organization, but this lack of a resolution for such a seemingly simple problem to fix just may make me rethink any further Garmin purchases.
But then again, why should Garmin care? Thay have our money, so to hell with the consumer, right?
September 11 2011, they still haven't solved this issue. We're not gonna die about it but it's lame that they haven't solved a tiny issue when they are still introducing new products into their sports line.
Just heard from Garmin that a new Connect version is scheduled for 9/14/11 and that it should have the ability to delete (but not edit) goals. Fingers crossed...
I'm joining the frustration club! How hard can it be to add a delete button!?!?!?!
On a positive note... I noticed some new features (courses and workout features) on my account that I'm actually really excited about :)
Take a look at the goals again, Garmin re-enabled this function in today's update. It took a while, but kudos to Garmin for finally getting it done!! ;)
