About a month ago the unit started freezing up when I was geocaching. By freeze I mean that the arrow stops moving, the cookie trail stops, but the distance to the cache updates seem to keep up. I have to turn the unit off and then back on to get it to work again.
I first noticed this error when I had the unit guiding me to a cache while I was driving. I would get to within walking distance and then get out of the car. At that point the unit would freeze. The arrow would remain right where I got out of the car.
Now I don't even have to be actively routing to a cache. The 450 will be keeping up with my route until I step out of the car. At that point the route and map updates stop.
I have updated to the latest software. This still has not helped.
Has anyone seen, or better yet solved, this issue?
