I know this has been touched upon in previous posts, but none that I notice had this specific request. Several of my friends do not like to share their activities with the public, so if they want to show me a specific activities, they have to unlock them until I've seen them, then lock them again. If we had a friend list, we could authorize only friends to see our activities, and still keep them from the public. This would also help in finding specific friends activities, mentioned in the other posts.
It would be nice to have this feature and I would use it.
But because it was already mentioned here - post39427 and here - 12824, without any response I would guess it'll not be implemented.
If Whatsnew page is true then there will be some integration with Facebook.
Almost all my rides start/finish at my home, and this isn't necessarily something I want shown in the public domain - hence not making the activities public. However I would love to be able to share my activity reports with my friends or my trainer.
Please let us share activities with a limited audience only, and not make us choose between everyone or no-one!
I don't want to make my activities public. There are to many personal informations: home address, habbits... Ideal material for burglar to find time for robbery.
I second, third fourth this 100%. An important feature that is noticeably lacking on GC.
Please give us the ability to create a group or group(s) of friends to which we can apply different levels of security.
It's a pain having to email everyone a link to my ride, or look up a friend and see what they've done. Within a group there can be user selectable notifications of new rides, sharing, etc...
A friend list to track and see your workouts would be a really nice feature. I have used Sportypal for a long time and that is a nice feature that is offered. It is also a motivational tool for a lot of friends.
