1490t Junction View?

The 1490t has junction view. While traveling today on all major interstates through three states we saw the junction view appear three times and that was it. I don't understand this. How can this be set to show all of the junctions for each turn/exit on the route? This is supposed to be a feature of this more expensive unit. What good is this if the feature is so limited?

It comes on too briefly, for me, but it does work.

How often does it come on - where you see a representation of the signs on the road and an actual view of the junction? As I said in 400 miles we saw this three times...???

Couldn't tell you-I would say "seldom" on surface roads but always on the Interstate.

I think it depends on the map data. I have a 1490T and have taken it various places in the world - Ontario (Canada), Alberta (Canada), and Australia - and have seen junction view in use in Ontario and Australia but not in Alberta. Interestingly enough, I also saw speed limits on the map in Ontario and Australia but not in Alberta, which leads me to believe that Alberta hasn't had these "enhanced" map features like speed limits and junction views applied yet.
