Thank you Garmin for destroying Garmin Connect!!!

I was with motion based when garmin took over them and took away features making it garmin connect. Now they have downgraded connect by going to bing maps i can not understand why they are intent upon making the online experience worse for everyone.
I am going to try another gps site my fear is i find a good one and a year down the line garmin will come along buy them out and add it to connect.

If I am allowed to give you a suggestion, go with SportTracks. It's not expensive, version 2 is actually free, and it comes with google maps (along with a BUNCH of other goodies). It's not web based, but at least garmin can't turn it to bing maps! :)

For the rest of us, we facepalm ourselves for even buying any of your products back in the days when you used Google Maps.

I think the title of your posting is a little over the top. While I despise Bing maps just as much as anyone, I don't think they "destroyed" GC. Although GC isn't so great - they'd have to really screw it up to "destroy" it, don'tcha think?
