Among the 'Running' Activity types, i think it would be nice to have a 'Cross Country Running' acitvity type. See for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_country_running I think 'Cross Country Running' is indeed different from 'Trail Running' and therefore deserves its own activity type.
I think this is a good suggestion. I would also like to see other activity types added to garmin connect so that I can more effectively use it to help me keep track of my workouts.
For instance, I personally would really like to see the following activity types added:
Yoga and/or stretching
Indoor rock climbing
Plyometrics
Cross training
Warmup and/or cooldown
Jump Rope
etc
I use my garmin to help me monitor my heart rate levels during these activities and would find this extremely helpful. Just saying.
