Nuvi 1300 cannot calibrate touchscreen

I have a Nuvi 1300. Cant get the white dot to come up. I have pressed the on button for 30 sec, for 2 min and even longer.

Screen not operating well. Have also updated firmware to 4.70.

Any suggestions??
