Bing Maps is NOT acceptable!!!

What did you do GARMIN!??? I call out to everyone, to post their disappointment here. Let GAMIN know that they have ruined one of the best features of having a garmin watch. I loved to watch where I had been marching or running, but that is ruined now.

WE WANT GOOGLE MAPS BACK!!!

To the developers:
1. Please explain why you choose to ruin the fun of having a garmin watch?
2. Are you even thinking about changing it back? or will we just have to live with it?

    Bing maps

    I bought my Forerunner 405 because I had seen links from my friends on garmin connect. But these links had included Google maps. And now when i have my own device, garmin connet is using bing maps. But there are practically no details of Czech Republic on bing maps. I'm disapointed!
    I hope that garmin connect will be back on Google maps soon. So far Garmin connect is unusable.

    New edge 800 user. very disappointed that google maps has been replaced by bing.

    change back to google maps

    Hey, haven't seen one single person who votes for Bing maps. This is really pathetic, change back please to google maps.

    folks r unhappy

    Garmin, overwhelmingly people are not pleased about the shift to bing maps. count me in on that as well. next time i buy a device, i will choose one which uses a good mapping service, so it won't be a garmin if garmin is still using bing.

    PEOPLE! WANT CHANGE? SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! THAT'S HOW YOU GET THEIR ATTENTION.

    +1 bing maps just not good enough, it has cheapened the whole experience with my garmin 405.

    It used to be good with google maps. Also why has development of garmin connect stalled, how do you not notice when you have a good thing going and then proceed to make it worse instead of better.

    Well, you're not American and you don't live in America, so apparently Garmin thinks that even though you bought a device that was advertised a certain way you don't deserve to get what you paid for....

    They're giving you the middle-finger....

    Post negative reviews where you bought the stuff. That's the only thing they'll possibly react to, if at all...

    The device works!

    It's the display of the data that is deemed unacceptable.

    And there are much better alternatives for displaying and analysing the data anyway.

    Move on!!
