Garmin Connect Web Bing Maps is NOT acceptable!!!

Bing Maps is NOT acceptable!!!

What did you do GARMIN!??? I call out to everyone, to post their disappointment here. Let GAMIN know that they have ruined one of the best features of having a garmin watch. I loved to watch where I had been marching or running, but that is ruined now.

WE WANT GOOGLE MAPS BACK!!!

To the developers:
1. Please explain why you choose to ruin the fun of having a garmin watch?
2. Are you even thinking about changing it back? or will we just have to live with it?

I agree. Big maps are exceedingly inferior to Google maps.

Bing maps are a waste of time and do not cover the areas I run. I find it very handy to add my course from my Garmin 310 xt to google maps through Gamin Connect but now I cannot?
Please bring it back.

This has to be a decision based on funding because it doesn't make sense from any other perspective.

Please bring back Google Maps.

I actually find the Bing maps more useful for Garmin Connect: here in the UK they show Ordnance Survey maps which show footpaths, and bridleways so I can work out where I can legally run without trespassing.

For everything else I use Google Maps but for Connect, Bing is better.

Bing is not usable in my area : no aerial photography, only satellite.
Not great when trying to define trails and really see the path ;-(((

Please bring back google maps or at least make it an option ?

I haven't found a way to use the bing OS maps in Connect - I just get the options for Road - Aerial - Hybrid. I don't even get birds-eye which I used to get before the update last week.

Have you found a way to use the bing os maps from within connect. That would be great, especially for the course creator.

This is useless!

Bing doesn't have half the detail or accuracy of Google maps - and how the heck do I export an entire route ?

Bring back google maps or lose customers.

Or start to use www.gpsies.com instead...

It gives a lot of maps options. And it communicates with Garmin devices very well...

GARMIN: Bing is too bad, give us at least Google maps back... :mad:
