Garmin Connect Web Bing Maps is NOT acceptable!!!

Bing Maps is NOT acceptable!!!

What did you do GARMIN!??? I call out to everyone, to post their disappointment here. Let GAMIN know that they have ruined one of the best features of having a garmin watch. I loved to watch where I had been marching or running, but that is ruined now.

WE WANT GOOGLE MAPS BACK!!!

To the developers:
1. Please explain why you choose to ruin the fun of having a garmin watch?
2. Are you even thinking about changing it back? or will we just have to live with it?

Add me to the list of folks unhappy with the change. I'm convinced that the decision had to be primarily financial.

Another vote for Google Maps - The quality of imagery for my area is suspect. Black and white orthophotos from 10 years ago... lots of the newer clearings and roads are non-existent.. also many areas I hike are not even available other than a very blurry image.

Bring back google maps!

Put me on the list as well! Bing has really bad Aerial view of the areas I live in (Finland) but Google Maps is excellent.

Last Garmin product that I purchase. Soley on the way they have treated their customers.

This line about a change being necessary is complete BS. No other GPS product
developers are complaining about trouble with Google Maps. But people have sure pointed out the problems with Bing!

wow, bing Terrain is horrendous....no elevation or anything.

They might as well just have coloured the screen white.
The birdseye is like 2 years behind.
Terrible.

One more vote against Bing Maps! Haven't visited connect during the "in between" seasons (between cycling and skiing). So now I do and Holy **** there's Bing maps. Vastly inferior! And most of the time I always used terrain view!

BRING BACK GOOGLE MAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bing is not functional.

I have always used the terrain feature of Google maps. It is clean, neat, and functional for use with the Garmin 405. I was able to clearly review my workouts, whether skiing, running, biking or hiking. I am now looking for easy options other than Connect to view my workout using Google maps. I too would like to have an option through Connect to choose the map format. Until then, I will be using something else.
