The Garmin 305 I'm using doesnt show the exact Distance, Always it shows 60% of the total Distance covered.
Can some one tell me how I could rectify this.
That is pretty far off. To really diagnose this, can you provide more information, such as -- are you using an Edge or Forerunner 305? Running or biking? Roads or trails? Using GPS, footpod or GSC-10? Indoors or out? And so on.

Thanks DW, I Use a Forerunner 305 on Trail+road with Lots of trees.. In Outdoors. I tried it on some open grounds too.. Does this Info Help.?
One other option - check if your are looking at the distance in miles or km. The 60% factor sounds a lot like the conversion factor between miles and km.

Thanks, You are Right, It shows in Mi, I did try changing the units. But yet still shows as ft Now. What is the right way to change the same.
