Google suddenly won't download

While trying to download directions to my Gamin Nuvi 765, I now get the message:

Action aborted. The following unexpected message was received from the device:

I:/Garmin/gpx/gpxfile20101015123956.GPX

I haven't had trouble in the past so something seems to have gone wrong! Any ideas?
