Graphs improvements request

Hy there

as first I would say I found kind of issue ( or look as a new functionality ), I always watch my data on speed and not on pace even when I do running trainings...
Unluckily I can chose to change the viewing between pace to speed just in the details page and is not even working for the all info, laps still keep the pace and not the speed..
As a solution I change activity type and switch to cycling.. then I analyze my speeds and put back the activity type in running

ok, the request is about some new features for analyze the trainings.. I would find very useful possibility to zoom over graphs, both x and y values.
It is goin to help a lot for check where the speed ( or pace :p ) increase or decrease, specially when the road do both uphill and downhill

greetings

    agree

I recall that in a previous version of connect, the different component graphs had + & - buttons so one could zoom in/out. Please return this "feature":)

    Better graph scaling

I must agree with the other posters that the graphs provided on Garmin Connect at present are not very useful for analysing performance.

If manual axis scaling isn't something that is going to be provided, it would be good to see the automatic scaling improved. At present any useful information, such as the difference between 7:30 min/mile pace and 8:00 min/mile pace, gets swamped by the difference between normal running pace and 70 min/mile pace going down some steps, or over a gate (or through a tunnel). Might I suggest scaling the y-axis according to speed. Then the difference between 8 miles/hour and 7.5 miles per hour should still be apparent, despite the occasional 0 miles per hour. (The axis could still be labelled according to pace.) Provided the maximum speed on the graph is sensible (I've yet to go 40mph on a run), this should make the graphs much more informative.

The heart rate graph is also scaled badly - I'm hoping my heart rate doesn't go down to zero on any of my runs!

I have Pace set instead of speed on the Details page, but on the Player page the graph only gives a speed option. If pace is set as the preference on the Details page can pace also be added as a Player page graph option.
    Thanks

+1 to that. If Pace is the preference the player graph should default to Pace
