Zumo 660 map mismatch and losing settings

I've just bought a Zumo 660 and it all worked okay until I downloaded the nuMaps Guarantee maps. Now when I load routes on it says "The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the routes(s).

If I say yes it reboots, loses all my settings and then asks me whether I want to recalculate the routes! :mad:

Every time I turn it off and on again it asks me whether I want to recalculate the routes and the whole cycle starts again. Does anyone know whether this is likely to be a hardware issue or have I messed up the software somehow? :(
