Want beats per minute not zones

When I update my settings so that my activities are shown with Heart Rate in beats per minute, instead of zones, the program does not retain that setting...it continues to default to heart rates zones. Very irritating. The FAQ menu says to change the setting to Heart Rate, then press SAVE, but there DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A SAVE ICON. Can anybody help?

Also, I have an incorrect body weight in there from over a year ago...and although I've searched for that date's entry, cannot find it when I look in calendar view to delete it. Does anybody know how you can have your weight STAY DISPLAYED in 30 day view instead of ALL entered weights? I'd prefer the default to be 30 days, not ALL DAYS...because that one entry was way out of wack.

Mine seems to be working as expected.

There is not a save icon, because the setting is immediately changed and a check mark and message appear at the top of the page.

I changed my setting from bpm to zones, and it displayed the check mark and "You successfully updated your Heart Rate Display" at the top of the page. I then viewed some activities, and they all correctly defaulted to zones.
  • zones/bpm

Did you change it back to BRM and see if all your activities reflected THAT change?

Yes, I did. And it changed to BPM as expected.
I also tried Percent of Max, and that worked as well.

    For what it's worth, I'm using Internet Explorer 8, Windows 7 64-bit.

If you are using Internet Explorer, you might check that compatibility view is on for garmin.com. See Tools / Compatibility View in the I.E. toolbar. That might make a difference, as it has cleared up some strange issues for some users. Just a thought ...........
  • I'm actually using Safari

I'll try logging in using I.E. at work and see if I have any more success there. Thanks for input: it appears that the Setting itself is correct, but it's just not carrying over to the Activities page.

That's a good idea. I hope that works for you.
