Screen is clutered with waypoint names

Hello, I use the 60cx for Marine navigation. I have an issue with the display when following a route, the name of the way-points are displayed on the map they are so big that they clutter the screen and prevent seeing the map. See an example with this screen shot :

I have tried in the display menu to remove text, without success, see my settings :

I also put OFF in the waypoint menu

I called French support, I talked to a nice guy who recommended 3 possible solutions :

1/ upgrade to last version of firmware
I just did it. I now have the latest 4.0 version installed it is the same issue.

2/ use the Mapsource software to create the route and transfer it *without* the waypoints
I tried, problem is the same...

3/ Post a message in the forum
This is what I am doing now!

This problem is very annoying any hepl is welcome.

I see you are using the 1.2nm scale for the map display. Now instead of choosing none (aucun), try selecting a number greater than 1.2nm and not only on the text screen but on the waypoints and track screen as well. I remember I had the same kind of problem long ago, maybe even with my 60CS at the time. Also look for this Yahoo group Garmin_GPSMap_60Cx_60CSx as they are very knowledgeable.

Thanks for your tips. I have tried all configurations with minimum or maximum scale 5m 500NM, it does not change anything the route points are still displayed.

I will try the yahoo group.
