The graphical view of recorded activity data is great. Save for one thing: Bad data points that cause the graph scale to be far too large.
For example, my 405cx will sometimes record a data point indicating a 12-minute mile pace. But I know there were no times I ran that slow. For a given activity, I may have kept my pace between 6 and 8 minutes per mile, but there will be bad points recorded.
This causes the graph scale to be too large. Ranging from 5 to 15 minute pace when all that is really required is 6 to 9. Otherwise, pace changes of 30 to 60 seconds are barely noticeable on the graph.
So, how about a filter of upper & lower limits. That way, I can specify on the pace graph to ignore anything faster than 6 minute/mile and anything slower than 9 minute/mile. The scale then shows greater detail and is much more useful at a glance.
The same idea would useful in the HR graph as well. There are times when a sudden jump to 210bpm gets recorded. Trust me, I know FOR CERTAIN that is not my HR. I certainly would have felt that. Especially when HR on either side of that data point is sub-150.
