download all tcx files from garmin connect

Hi,
I recently formatted my computer and forgot to save all my old garmin tcx files. I have also deleted some of the older ones on my edge 705. Is there a way i can batch download all my tcx files from the garmin connect website? i have around 300 files, so I would rather not just click on every one, that would take forever. Thanks!

I don't think there's any way to download more than one at a time. However, if you hover over an activity in the activity list you can get the activity number. To get a tcx file given the activity number you would go to the following location:

connect.garmin.com/proxy/activity-service-1.0/tcx/activity/50561661?full=true

Where you replace 50561661 with the actual activity number.

Using this information along with the iMacros add-on for Firefox maybe you could automate the process.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago if you are on a unix based system you could also use wget in a little shell script.

I just fail to get an idea how to get the numbers. There was a perl module a while ago, but it (or rather the api it used) seem depreciated.
