ecoRoute HD

Having purchased the nuvi 3790T, an excellent unit by the way, I find it strange that it does not support ecoRoute HD. With the graphics capabilites and processing power the unit has, it is indeed a shortcoming of the unit, especially when the nuvi 1490T has this support.
I bought my 3790t in June and then ecoRoute HD in July. No support then but an email from customer service informed me that a software update would provide support "by the end of the month". Well it's now October and I've done all the updates so far and still have no support. :mad:
:mad:I was informed by tech support that the EcoRoute HD would NOT be supported. I believe we are both up the creek without the proverbial paddle.
I got and email from support about Oct 9 as follows:
Thank you for contacting Garmin International. The ecoRoute HD will be
made compatible with the next system software / Firmware update for the
Nuvi 3790T.
DFERREE Did you get an update as they promised for the EcoRoute HD? I am waiting for this update just like you and many others as well. Lets hope it happens soon.

No update, and I called support yesterday about Custom POI Icon display, and they would not give an estimate on the date of the next firmware/software release.
Thank you Garmin. The latest firmware update provides support for the ecoRoute HD device. Now, if the will provide support for MapSource route import and export for the Nuvi 3790T.
