3790t working?

I give up

I've given up trying to get this thing working. My insurance only has a $50 deductable and I've decided to leave the 3790t on the dash and hope someone steals the thing.

Still no luck, 3790 not working well and nobody has stolen the damn thing from my vehicle.

No, my Nuvi 3790 is still not working:
- Voice command totally screwed up (goes to a random letter when spelling a towns, and shows town 3000km from my location)
- Via points totally screwed up (when selecting more than 1 via point, it takes me back to and forth, the route looks like a plate of noodles)
- Once a route defined, no possibility to change it (with several via points, to change priorities, but as via points don't work, it's not such a big deal)
- When recalculating, it looses power connection (that's what it says)
- Recalculating takes sometimes ages, up to 30 sec. for 3km (especially downtown, when you need a fast answer)
- Plus some other minor things, like map update (a real nighmare, 4 hours, but at least it works).
Seriously, I'd like to know who took the decision to put that unreliable piece of sh... on the market. As far as I'm concerned, this is my last Garmin!

I bought mine recently but I am getting a refund for it.
On which website is the best GPS to buy but I think its the worst.
I had several GPS in my life time and the 3790T is the worst of all.
Do not buy it!!

Mine bought on 30.12 2010 from Kuwait and still having issues related to :

Voice command - the feature "find by name " "find address" are not working for american english

Street ahead feature is not available at all unlike the north american nuvi3790t version.

I called the dealer today and requested a refund which was declined by the dealer. I am very disappointed...
