Garmin support

:mad: I'm new, just bought a 3790t. The unit was working fine until I updated my maps and software. Now several of the voice commands are not working. Others on this forum have reported the same issue.
I'm not too concerned about the device itself. It's new, you can expect a few problems and I'm confident the glitches will be worked out over time. What I am concerned with is the level of Garmin support.
Email and FAQs were of no help at all. The telephone was worse yet. Long waits, people with no knowledge of the product or what if anything was forthcoming to resolve these issues.
My question is really quite simple. "Is the voice command issue with the latest version of 3790 software being addressed?" Unfortunately, trying to get and answer to this question seems impossible.
So here I am. The "proud" owner of a very expensive GPS that doesn't work all that well, manufactured by a company that doesn't appear to have very good product support.
There, I vented. I'm feeling better now.:)

    Bad luck...

    Same situation, my 3790 still does not work properly (via points, voice command, etc...). I already addressed several issues to Garmin (September) and still no reply, still no new firmware. Waiting... still... with a non functioning product... :mad::mad::mad:
