Calories must be kcal

In Garmin.Connect the dimension of the mentioned number of calories is wrong to my opinion. Instead of C, the dimension must be kC (in Dutch: kcal). A factor 1000 more.:cool:

Most people when referring to "calories" mean food calories, not energy calories. A food calorie is equal to 1,000 energy calories or a Kcal.

1 kilocalorie = 1 food calorie = 1,000 energy calories

The unit referenced on Garmin Connect is the kilocalorie.

In other contexts, the kilocalorie is often referred to as a Calorie (capital "C"), or just a calorie, and it has to be inferred from the context that the small calorie is not intended.
