My unit has been unable to acquire sats lately. I contacted Garmin and they walked me through to check on the software version on my GPS. This is the third time the software has disappeared. Garmin rep had me do a master reset this time , so we'll see if this takes care of it.
I do not trust this unit anymore because who knows when it will stop working. I'll continue to carry my map and compass.:confused::
