Some more info on facebook well about run lick time, distance, a map
Not just a link to the garmin website
Check out runkeeper on the facebook well

I've got the same "feature request". Twitter is limited to 140 characters, so a simple post for that is logical.

Facebook allows a lot more. And Runkeeper uses it. Friends that post their runs on Facebook got a map, details about the distance and pace etc.... All Connect does is post a simple link. One that Facebook doesn't understand :(

Can this be added???

couldn't agree more, just tried to share a run on facebook an I actually thought something isn't working, cause there was nothing else but a link. Would be really nice to have a summary and the link. At least distance, time and pace

I agree. I just moved to the Garmin from Nike+ and that feature is probably the only thing I miss. Having your stats show up on your Facebook wall is a motivator.

this feature would be perfect if Facebook sees Garmin Connect as an external application, so friends are able to hide it from their timeline forever if they're not interested
also a little map and statics would be nice, not just a link like it is right now

Me too move over from Nike+ and thought this to be standard.
Everything else works perfect just 1 annoying feature.

This link is meaningless to non forerunner users..

There is the MyMotionBased app on facebook.

problem with that one is, it's not linked to Garmin Connect, that's why we've this feature request...

besides this is what MotionBased said:

As of 31 December 2009, MotionBased no longer accepts any uploads or changes to activity settings or user profile settings. Please start using Garmin Connect.

so MyMotionBased is not an option

I suspect you didn't try it, or you would know. The app does link to Garmin Connect. When MotionBased changed to Garmin Connect, the facebook app was reconfigured to work with the new system, but the name was never changed.
