Garmin Connect DNS Error

Hello,

From yesterday till now, when I try to go to connect.garmin.com I get a Service Unavailable, DNS Error message.

The IP the DNS responds is this
e3664.b.akamaiedge.net: type A, class IN, addr 92.123.210.235

Is there anything wrong with the server? When will it be up again?

    @ Garmin Product Support
Since 19-Sept Whenever I try to connect with Garmin.connect or MyGarmin I get Service unavailable - DNS error.
I tried to solve the problem with my IP provider but they say that you have to fix it.
Please tell me what to do.

    Hi,

I face the same  problem  since yesterday evening: Belgium

I hope it will be resolved asap.

  • If you get the same DNS error as the user in the initial post (a domain name of Akamai), then it may be due to some filtering rules on your computer, firewall, or router. Some improperly configured anti-adware, privacy-protection, or security tools may cause it too.

Akamai is a CDN (Content Delivery Network) provider, for the purpose of security, accessibility, and better load balancing. Read more about Akamai on WikiPedia. Garmin is using also CloudFlare, so if the DNS error reffers to any of their domains, it would be the same case.
