What is the difference? I just got a GPSMAP 62 and there isn't really much of a map to speak of, just a base map. when looking at the colorful map on the box of the unit, I was excited, but then let down after turning the unit on. So, what is the diff between a 25k map and a 100k topo map?
I would have thought just the opposite. I can get a 24k Great Lakes map for 100 bucks from garmin or a 100k US topo map from Garmin for 100 bucks.....which one should I get?
