Problem with custom POIs

I have loaded the coordinates of about 1000 sites around the Country using the POI loader. When i go to EXTRAS the Custom POIs are present. When I click on one of them the map appears pinpointing the site. However the GO icon does not appear on the screen so the route is not plotted

I have loaded the same info on another Garmin Nuvi ( 2 years old) and it works fine.Can anyone help?
