Nuvi 1300 Screen Problem

I used it this morning with no issues what so ever. I went to the store and came back out and looked and noticed my screen has a white line in it going horizontal(More like a fine dotted line) entirely across the screen. the devce still works fine and has no other issues that im aware of.
The line is runs right through the center of the words "Where To?" and "View Map".

Has anyone else had this problem? If so what is the problem/solution?

Just purchased a NUVI 50LM and right out of the box it had 6 whites lines across the face. Its going back tomorrow for a refund. I have no desire to solve Garmin's technical problems whatever they might be. A new product should work right from the beginning. In the mean time my old standby Nuvi (which continues to work flawlessly after 3 years) will have to suffice for now.

Fact of life, electronic units eventually fail.

This forum though is to discuss issues with Connect, but you could try googling 'replacing screen on Garmin GPS', I know there are kits out there that allow you to do it yourself at reasonable prices.
