Nuvi 1300 Screen Problem

I used it this morning with no issues what so ever. I went to the store and came back out and looked and noticed my screen has a white line in it going horizontal(More like a fine dotted line) entirely across the screen. the devce still works fine and has no other issues that im aware of.
The line is runs right through the center of the words "Where To?" and "View Map".

Has anyone else had this problem? If so what is the problem/solution?

The same line has just appeared on the screen of my nuvi 1300, after updating the software and installing updated maps. I tried re-installing both, but no change - it's still there. Any ideas?

I too am having this very same problem, software update did not help...Is Garmin working on fixing this?????

Nuvi 765 same screen line problem

My Nuvi 765 has had the same line problem (white line runs horizontally across the center of the screen). My line appeared early September 2010. The device still works/charges, but I haven't been able to get rid of the white line. Maybe an update at a future date will do it?

My line is still there, device still works fine, charges fine. I really wish I could figure out what was the cause or a solution. Its fine during the day time but at night it bugs me that there is a white line there. Anyone have any luck with fixing it????

Just updated today 01/01/2011 and still have the white line across the screen of my nuvi 765. It's more of an annoyance as everything else functions correctly.

I just updated my nuvi 1300 and the screen display is now unusable. The update came from a new map I was installing after purchasing today. I am traveling tomorrow.

So what do I do now? How can I fix my 6-month old Nuvi? This is a quite unacceptable bug.

I am also having this problem now. A refurb unit I purchased a month ago. Still no solution? Mine just started out of the blue, no update caused this.

Same thing. I have a nuvi 40 that I purchased about 4/5 months ago and went to use it today and it came up with a warning about not using the camera while driving. I click ok and now I have 6 of the fine dotted white lines all horizontally across the screen. This is definitely a Garmin issue as the screen was clear of lines right before I hit ok on the message. Have there been any updates on this? I also have not done an update as it was just purchased a few months ago...
