Buttons backlit on the 62 series?

I have a GPSMAP 62S. I used it at night recently and realized the buttons don't actually light up! Can someone confirm whether or not the buttons are indeed backlit on this unit? Please don't confuse my question with the LCD backlight.

They are not back lit.

Well in that case, I think it's a big oversight by Garmin. IIRC, the 60CSX does have this feature.
