How can I tell which maps are loaded on Dakota20 SD card

I have a Dakota20. I've loaded a series of separate img files to the SD card. I've got it loaded with a Europe set, and a set for Montana and another large set of Topos for WA, down through Oregon and down into the Sierra. At least, I think so. That's what I'm trying to ascertain to make sure they are on the device and usable.

I am planning a trip and wanted to make sure that I had the topo maps loaded that I need.

In my prior garmin's, I could use Mapsource and "transfer from device" and it would list my maps on the unit. I've tried that both for the gps itself and for the SD card (listed as a device). Neither shows my loaded maps.

I do have multiple img files loaded with various names.

Can this be done with either Mapsource or Basecamp?

Thanks in advance for any help.

edited to add: I guess you can view the various "maps" that are in any particular img set by renaming them back to gmapsupp.img and then loading into Mapsource. A bit awkward but better than nothing. Are there other ways?

In Basecamp it will show what mapping you have loaded. You will have to zoom in the areas to make sure the detail is there.

Also Basecamp will allow you to see the detail and create waypoints, routes, and tracks.

    I hope this helps.
