Forerunner 310xt Garmin Connect Issue

Hello,

I am having a problem uploading one of my activities using Garmin Connect - every other run uploads fine I'm just having a problem with this one.

I've tried doing a force transfer from the watch settings (this normally works) but nothing has happened. I have also tried to upload the run manually by picking it from the list of runs and pressing upload - but again it just says 'uploading' and nothing happens. I've installed the desktop software and imported the my previous runs but this one doesn't show.

I can see the the run in my history on the watch and it is listed when I try on the Garmin connect list of runs that can be uploaded.

Any ideas of where I am going wrong with this... activities after this one have transferred as normal.

  • The file is probably corrupt or has some erroneous data that makes it impossible for GC to recognize. Can you copy it to this thread as an attachment? Someone may be able to fix the file for you. You should be able to see the file located at (if Windows Vista/7)
    C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Devices\<device ID #>\History\

    Thanks for the advice....

    I did two walk from yesterday, and I think (looking at the time stamps) that this is the entry for the 1st run that went across fine. There is no entry for the second walk (from what I can tell) contained within that folder. It is in my watch history but not transferring across?

    Could I have not ended the activity properly? if so how can I re-open the activity (from the watch) to end it?
